Mitchel, Gaston, Riffel & Riffel Company History


In 1973, Mike Mitchel began working with the firm which eventually became Mitchel, Gaston, Mitchel, P.C. On January 1, 2004 Mitchel, Gaston, Mitchel, P.C. merged its practice with the Enid Law Practices of Katresa J. Riffel and Craig Riffel to form the law firm of Mitchel, Gaston, Riffel and Riffel, PLLC. The firm has a combined legal experience exceeding 100 years. Upon the merger, the firm became Northwest Oklahoma’s first and only regional law firm with offices in Alva, Enid, Fairview and Woodward, Oklahoma. The firm has a general civil and criminal trial practice in all Oklahoma State and Federal Courts.

The AV rated law firm of Mitchel, Gaston, Riffel & Riffel is an Oklahoma professional limited liability company. It is Northwest Oklahoma’s only regional law firm with offices in Enid, Fairview and Woodward, Oklahoma. The Firm is comprised of nine attorneys, Michael W. Mitchel, Donald C. Gaston, Katresa J. Riffel, Craig Riffel, Philip J. Outhier, Jessica L. Caruthers, Jay M. Mitchel, Timothy F. Campbell, Zachary J. Denney, Ashley McDermott and an outstanding staff. The Firm has a general civil and criminal trial practice in all Oklahoma state and federal courts.
